Dan is an alumnus of Michigan State University. During his tenure at MSU Dan donated much
of his time to local community organizations; most notably Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lansing
and The Volunteer Income Tax Association (VITA). As a "big," for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Dan
spent much of his time mentoring local youth. As a volunteer for VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Association),
Dan donated is time and knowledge to help less privileged families prepare and file their taxes.
After graduation, Dan moved back to Oakland County. And has worked to become one of the youngest
business development executives in the I.T. field, being nominated as one of Crain’s magazine top
20 business people in there 20’s. Once established, Dan looked for another local organization to
become involved with. He found the perfect fit with The Twilight Benefit Foundation.
Mr. Daniel Hoban Hosting the Door at the Twilight New Years Eve Gala 2008
"Twilight's activities, volunteers, and cause fit me perfectly. The people in the organization
really make the difference, they make volunteering a hobby. You know you have something special
when one of your favorite things to do is spend time with your friends volunteering."
